guyt
Obama is in the lead, which is ballin' as hell. I'm not saying Hillary is a bad person, but she is just such a scumbag. So i guess she is a bad person.+1 for the good guy!!!
gaia.plateau
I think it's probably in the world's short-term best interest for Obama to be elected President.
Bulldog_916
Why short term? This guy is poised to be JFK II. I think he can actually get things done with a democratic majority AND the presidency. If he gives an ultimatum to the Iraqi government, they are MUCH more likely to heed it than if a Republican is elected. Short term, maybe. But I'd rather get this country back to the way it was BEFORE Bush, than continue on with the same bullshit. Gut the NSA and rebuild it. Get a cabinet that is less about stonewalling and more about open information. Talk to us like we're intelligent Americans rather than gullible, scared little children. KillZedKill
Well, on super tuesday there were 73% more democratic voters then republicans, and if Obamas leading, then so be it! I'm hoping he beats that feminazi, big time.

TheScotsman
I guess I just don't understand Obama's attraction. Why do you like him, and what do you actually base it on. Other than useless political rhetoric, there seems to be bloody little information out there.
pfgannon
I'm not really a fan of Obama's.Little too liberal for my tastes and his health care positions are gonna put us in even more debt than we're already in IMO. Welfare needs to get under control before we start handing out more free shit.Since Ron Paul obviously isn't going to make it now, I do think Obama is our best choice at this point. Now I've gotta get back to figuring out why anyone would vote for McCain. Bulldog_916
It seems as if he has a counterpoint to Hillary's every single point. He has a plan and has debated it with Clinton on every level. He's charismatic, very educated, and counter to everything that we've known for so long as Americans. He isnt a career politician. He isnt running attack ads at her. He isnt smearing. He gives out a vibe of hope for our country. He'd actually shake things up in Washington. It wouldnt be the same old bullshit rehashed and with the OTHER party. There may be a lot of rhetoric, but it actually gives people pause to think there is a possibility that the US could be better. That's what the people who stand with Obama's side like. Almost all the candidates do.They all seem to have a magical way of paying for all this shit while lowering taxes at the same time. His plan is to roll back excess tax cuts given to large corporations and to those making over 200k a year by the Bush Administration. Excess means more than needed. What good is a nation of rich people getting richer and the poor getting poorer? The middle class joining the poor? What good is a nation of consumers without any money to spend? Changing the US is for the better because the way we are going isnt working, obviously. He'll get our guys home faster than Hillary. If he issues the Iraqi govt an ultimatum, you know they'll heed it. Otherwise, they'll think we're joking and will continue to pussyfoot around. We need someone who is willing to put a timeline on US involvment in Iraqi security. Pull our guys out of the cities and station several batallians and air crews outside the country where it's safer. If the terrorists start to increase attacks, we get intel on it, figure out where it's coming from and deal with those field fires where they come up. Some will die, but that's the nature of the war. It's going to be the best way to keep our boots out of Iraq's business and back them up at the same time.

TheScotsman
Obama wants to give .7% of the GDP to the UN. (845 billion) Now if you really want to pay an additional 1% tax to support the rest of the world he's your man. (since it involves the rest of G8, I bet they really want Obama to sign them up too!)Just how is that going to help the US economy? Some fools biatch about the cost of the war in Iraq, yet tout the great virtue of a candidate who wants to hand the nation a bill nearly double what we have spent in Iraq to date. That is funny. Proof people are voting on looks, and emotion, not reality. His voting record is for crap, the man doesn't seem to ever show up for a vote! If you read his proposals, the math doesn't work, not only does it not work, but is so far from reality it's obviously just made-up propaganda

Bulldog_916
It really is too bad that the world cant be swayed with bombs. If it could, the US would be the love of every nation on earth. In order to foster good will in the world, you have to give them something other than warnings and words. You have to unfortunately give them money. Where did you find this figure? I googled all different combos of Obama and U.N. and didnt find a single reference to giving them .7% of the GDP.
